WinnerWheel is an EmKeTech product for choosing names with a Wheel or Name Roulette. This policy describes what stays on your device, what hosting necessarily processes, and the choices available to you.

Who is responsible

EmKeTech operates WinnerWheel. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to hello@emketech.com.

No accounts

WinnerWheel has no user accounts, profiles or sign-in. It does not ask for a name, postal address or payment information.

Participant data stays local

Names and TXT/CSV files are processed by application code in your browser. They are not uploaded to WinnerWheel or EmKeTech. Winner selection also happens locally using secure randomness built into your browser.

Session history

Current winners and repeat-prevention state live in memory in the active browser tab. Reloading or closing the page clears them. WinnerWheel does not persist participant lists or draw history in local storage.

Browser storage and cookies

The application does not set analytics or marketing cookies. It may store one necessary local-storage preference named winnerwheel-cookie-notice so the privacy notice does not reappear after acknowledgement. See the Cookie Policy.

Hosting and technical logs

Like any website, WinnerWheel’s hosting provider may receive standard request information such as IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, timestamps and security diagnostics. These records support delivery, reliability and abuse prevention. Participant names are not sent as part of this process.

Analytics and processors

WinnerWheel does not currently use product analytics, advertising trackers, error-reporting SDKs, payment providers or participant-data processors. The website is delivered through Vercel, which acts as the infrastructure hosting provider.

Security and retention

WinnerWheel reduces risk by avoiding participant-data collection. Browser-only processing, HTTPS and restrictive response headers protect the service. EmKeTech does not retain participant lists. Infrastructure logs are retained according to the hosting provider’s operational and security settings.

Your rights in the EEA and UK

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to complain to a data-protection authority. Because WinnerWheel does not receive participant lists or maintain accounts, EmKeTech usually cannot identify or retrieve that local content. Contact support for requests involving information EmKeTech does hold.

Policy changes

The effective date above changes when this policy is materially revised. If the product later adds optional analytics or other processing, the policy and consent controls will be updated before that processing begins.
